WHY DONATE?

Research shows that spending time in nature helps children build community, increases connection with the world around them, form and recognize culture, boosts academic performance, improves physical and mental health, helps them understand their own strengths and limitations and helps them understand the value they bring to their community.

Unfortunately, every year there are a few kids who get lost in the weeds. Those families unable to make ends meet are unable to send their kids into the forest with us. Demand for financial support was at its greatest last year and unfortunately were unable to accommodate everyone, even though there were still spaces left available to fill.

We want to change that.

Each dollar you donate will go directly to enrolling kids in the camp. That means more smiling faces in the forest building basecamps, swimming in the creek, playing capture the flag and whatever else their little minds can think of.

In just one day we can help make a difference in the lives of so many kids.

Please consider helping our cause.

THANKS TO OUR WILDLINGS CAMP DAY CORPORATE SPONSORS

The Fort St John Home Hardware Building Centre partners with NEAT regularly to provide some really cool events! The annual Pumpkin Plunge and Soup Stock takes place in their parking lot, and we've participated in every Ladies' Night since its inception. Additionally, Home Hardware has sponsored the local Communities in Bloom group and is always quick to help us with any supplies we may need!
Urban Systems is a long time NEAT supporter. They have very generously provided building support for 65 garden beds at three different schools, as well as, supporting Come to the Table, a food security forum, energy conservation programming and Communities in Bloom.
