Going WILD!

Camp Wildlings is an outdoor, child-led, nature based day camp that operates out of Fish Creek in partnership with the City of Fort St John and Northern Lights College. There are two program streams available to participants: Widlings and Wild Gymnasts, a partnership with the North Peace Gymnastics Association. Accepting 30 Wildlings a week, Wildlings runs for 6-7 weeks in the summer and is the inspiration for Pro-D Day programs throughout the school year as well. Wild Gymnasts offers an additional 40 spaces each day with participants splitting their time between the gym and the forest.

Camp Wildlings started in 2018 and has seen hundreds of children through the forest, some of which returned as Junior Leaders in 2022. This year we had approximately 250 unique participants in both programs exploring the world in Fish Creek

Camp Wildlings registration is $300/week and Wild Gymnasts is $325/week per child.

Nature Connection

* “the positive effects of nature exposure include improved cognitive functioning (including increased concentration, greater attention capacities, and higher academic performance), better motor coordination, reduced stress levels, increased social interaction with adults and other children, and improved social skills.”

Let them PLAY!

We understand that in many cases, participants that would benefit most from the Wildlings programs are excluded financially from participating. This year (2022) we initiated a fundraising day in the early spring that subsidized participation for families in our community. Our first efforts raised $8,500 and our goal for 2023 is to double it.
Donate today & let them PLAY!
