Food Secure Kids is a unique NEAT program working to with K-6 students to explore food security in their communities. In the 2016-17 school year, almost 2000 students participated in Food Secure Kids programming. There are so many fantastic community partners that came together to make this program a success. A big thank you to Urban Systems Foundation, B-squared Construction, The United Way of Northern British Columbia, Shell, Enbridge, and AECOM who all helped build the last 56 garden beds at Bert Ambrose and Alwin Holland schools. It is true that many hands make light work; we couldn't have done it without you - thank you!
