Join us for our first Learn to Can Series of 2020!
In the Learn to Can program participants will learn how easy it is to safely preserve fruits and vegetables by water bath canning. This is a hands-on learning session where participants will make a jam, a pickle, and a tomato recipe. The session cost is $40 and all supplies are provided. The Learn to Can is held on April 16 (location to be confirmed).
In the Learn to Pressure Can program participants will learn how to confidently can low acid foods in a pressure canner. This session is $50. Learn to Pressure Can is held at the NOURISH kitchen April 25 at the Salvation Army (by the Food Bank).
Both sessions are available at a discounted cost of $80.
Everyone receives a canning guide and gets to take home what they’ve made.
