2019 – Garden Design 1

March 28 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

$35

The first Garden Design session in this program will help the novice gardener learn the foundation of designing a functional, sustainable landscape. Starting right at the beginning with compiling the information to starting the actual design, participants will be guided through the process from the beginning. This session is appropriate for gardeners that are looking to add some professional flair to their landscapes or beginners that are looking to make their yard their own!

The Garden Design workshop will give you the basic concepts in design and help you produce a landscape plan that you can enjoy for years to come. This session is appropriate for those wishing to design an edible or ornamental gardens and is the perfect compliment for Garden 101, a well rounded overview of all the components that go into a successful garden.

Join Master Gardener Sonya Runacres for Garden Design 1. Sonya moved to Fort St John more than twenty years ago and has been enticing the clay to produce ever since. She received her Master Gardener certification from the University of Saskatchewan and is undeniably passionate about plants. Her garden designs have received Recognition Awards through Communities in Bloom and her gardens at home are bountiful examples of what is possible with a little know-how and some elbow grease.
