Together, we have developed a grade 4/5 curriculum that goes through what uses energy, how do we get the energy we use, how/why to conserve energy, and how to stay safe around natural gas. This program is available to teachers and students in School Districts 52, 54, 59, 60, 82, and 91.

This hands on learning opportunity is a great opener to broader discussions on climate change and resource conservation as it applies to northern British Columbia. Our curriculum is politically neutral while providing practical safety and conservation information, as well as, encouraging discussion among students.

We have just completed the pilot presentations for this program and will be offering programming in the fall of 2017. To sign your class up, contact NEAT at 250-785-6328 or email info@neat.ca.
