Reel NEAT Contest

Eligibility

To be eligible students must be enrolled in a junior or senior high school educational program within the Peace River Regional District or the Northern Rockies Regional Municipality. A registration form must be filled out and submitted to reserve a place in the competition. If you are a teacher registering a class submission, please enter your name and contact information for participant #1.

Topics

Students are asked to explore subjects directly related to one of the following topics:

1. Garbage: Where does it come from? Where does it go? Topics under this heading will discuss an issue related to the production, collection or reduction of garbage within the PRRD or NRRM or explore alternative methods of processing garbage.
2. Local Food: Who's growing what? Where is that product going? Subjects will relate to a specific aspect of food production and can include integral components such as bee colonies or front line players such as farmers or chickens.
