We are planning our NEAT Nights for the upcoming months and we want some input from you. What would you like to see? Do you want movies, discussions, demonstrations, or do you have other ideas. We want to hear from you. You may want to see something that we have never thought of. We are open to all suggestions.

Why you've made this challenge?:

We want new, fresh ideas. We are hoping that the friends of NEAT will get involved and share.

Wherever multiple computer servers are being used I challenge you to virtualize servers wherever appropriate. Each server that is virtualized saves 12.5 tonnes of CO2 each year due to decreased electricity use. Great backup and recovery features too!
Why you've made this challenge?:
Carbon reduction targets through the province's carbon neutral policies have suggested this as a one strategy for School Districts. We were doing it before carbon neutral as we were running out of space and had serious over heating issues due to all these servers only running at 5% capacity but using lots of power and wasting all kinds of energy.

I challenge myself to stop buying soup in non-recyclable tetra-pack containers...even though it's soooo good!
Why you've made this challenge?:
Because I can get soup in recyclable packaging, or I can try to make it myself!
